The SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R50 (4214) is a robust and versatile solution designed to provide protection and expand accessory mounting options for the Canon EOS R50 camera. The cage securely locks the camera in place with a 1/4”-20 screw at the bottom and two side lock adapters, ensuring a firm fit. Rubber pads are included to prevent scratches and offer additional protection. The cage is designed to provide full access to all camera controls, card slots, the flip screen, and the battery door, allowing for uninterrupted functionality. This cage includes multiple accessory mounting points: 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes, as well as ARRI 3/8”-16 locating holes, which enable the attachment of a Top Handle (3765), Side Handle (2093C), Monitor Mount (2903B), and Magic Arm (3875). The top cold shoe mount is perfect for attaching microphones (3468) or LED video lights (3286B), while the left NATO rail fits Rotating Side Handles (3260, 3813). The cage also features a built-in 1/4”-20 threaded hole on the right side for a cable clamp (1693) and a QD socket for a quick-release shoulder strap buckle. The integrated bottom Arca-Swiss quick-release plate allows for easy transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal (DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro) shooting. A screwdriver is conveniently included to make assembly and disassembly a breeze, ensuring that you are always ready to shoot with ease.
